Art and Visual Culture

This guide can be used for lots of different types of research in Art and Visual Culture.

Getting Started in Photography

Image databases are crucial for photography research, offering access to high-quality images for visual analysis, comparison, and historical context. They aid in understanding details, styles, and cultural significance. They preserve and document photographs, especially fragile pieces that may not be able to be displayed or mounted for exhibition or may be composed of unstable chemicals that make viewing in person difficult.
