An article index is like Google Search if it only searched journal articles. Below you will find several article indexes that should help you find your primary scientific research article.
When you are trying to locate peer-reviewed journal articles (and not books, book chapters, websites, newspaper articles, etc.), it can be very helpful to work with a search tool that ONLY looks at journal articles. It is even more helpful if the tool you are using can help you access the articles you want after doing a search.
There are several great tools available from the library that allow you to search high quality journal articles AND help you get them...either via direct download or by helping you make an interlibrary loan request.
After performing a key word search with LibrarySearch+, you can use the search refinement facets on the left hand side of the results page and limit your results to journal articles.
You can also limit to scholarly and peer-reviewed content and define the publication date range for your results.
