SCARAB (Scholarly Communication and Research at Bates)

SCARAB is our Institutional Repository at Bates College. It contains faculty scholarship, student theses, college archival material (including the college newspaper "The Bates Student"), conference proceedings and more! Take a look at our SCARAB page for more information and resources!

Read and Publish with Cambridge University Press

Colby, Bates, and Bowdoin have an agreement with Cambridge University Press. The agreement provides access to Cambridge journals and unlimited coverage of Article Processing Charges (APCs) to our authors who publish Open Access in Gold OA or Hybrid OA Cambridge journals.

The agreement term runs from 2021 through 2023.
