Use this modified EndNote Output Style file for the journal "Ecology" so you can export and annotated bibliography directly from your EndNote library:
After installing EndNote, download and open the "Ecology-Bates.ens" file. This will open the file in the EndNote app. If EndNote is not already open, EndNote will be opened, too.
From the "Ecology-Bates.ens" box, select File -> "Save As" and then save the file. This citation style should now be available to you as an option in EndNote.
