Records for all honors theses are available in the library catalog, LibrarySearch; you can browse the complete listing.
Prior to 2012, honors theses were archived as physical manuscripts at the Edmund S. Muskie Archives and Special Collections Library.
As of 2012, only electronic versions of student theses are archived and records for these are accessible through the Bates institutional repository SCARAB (Scholarly Communications and Research at Bates). Access for each electronic thesis file is determined by the student author and their advisor(s).
To find and access to non-honors theses, check with the issuing department.
These templates can be quite helpful and are designed to facilitate discussions with your advisor about formatting your thesis. It is important to understand that these are only meant to be a useful way to start that conversation. Ultimately, it is your thesis advisor that is the final arbiter of the necessary form and parts of your thesis and these are meant to be modified with that in mind.
