While this collection contains biographies and bibliographies of many well-known speakers (e.g. Susan B. Anthony; Ida B. Wells), it is primarily concerned with women who are not as well documented.

Like the 1800-1925 volume, this title covers well-known orators like Helen Keller, Margaret Sanger, and Phyllis Schlafly, but also many women whose oratorical contributions have been less-well documented (e.g. Aimee Semple McPherson).
